Slow Day

So much to say,
but for some reason I can't seem to find the words.

I have a lot of sadness in my heart right now,
which is impacting me in so many ways.
I've made no Art.
But I have tons of ideas floating around in my head.

Been trying to get a little organized with Paperwork...
it seems to pile up so fast.
Also get my Creative Biz organized.
I think it's time to really take it seriously
and let it fly!

Taking a couple of classes,
but so far behind...
I'll share more with you soon.

Just hoping this funk will go away soon...
and my mojo will come back soon.

Sorry for the sadness, today.
Don't usually like to bring it to this blog.
But, just wanted to let you know
I'm still alive!

Still Feeling the Magic

Boy, I'm still feeling the magic of last weekend.  I just love thinking about all the positive energy...I think I have been missing that in my life...and needing it in my life...must open my heart to it.

Spent quite a while in the back yard garden with the pups.  Lulu is getting so big!  You know, when she was little Baxter let her do anything to him...sit on him, step on him, pull his ears and tail...he was amazingly patient with her and taught her the rules of the house.  But, now...since she's gotten bigger...it seems like he has lost his patience with her.  I think he is just trying to teach her some manners.  This little Lulu is one smart cookie...but she is not liking the new rules.  Poor Baxter, she terrorizes him!  Today, he found a good hiding place...he thought.  I mean he is a hundred pound dog, so it's a little hard to hide.
It was so funny to see Lulu running all around trying to find him...it really didn't take her long and she was all over him again...

Today, I turned 64...I know, an old lady, right?  It was a quiet day...a good day for reflecting...

A Day of Magic

Sunday...Mother's Day.

Since I knew I wouldn't be seeing either of my kids, I decided to treat myself to a workshop by Kelly Rae Roberts and Andrea Scher at The Teahouse in Berkley.

This was not your typical workshop.

It was Brunch with Kelly Rae and Andrea and and 19 other women, and just the opportunity sit around and talk about anything we wanted to talk about.
Sorta like the coming together of like-minded souls.

I was a little worried,
wondering what I would be able to contribute to our conversation.

But, the moment I walked in,
Kelly Rae welcomed me with a big hug
and I could just feel the energy of the room...
so positive,
so warm,
so nurturing,
so comforting.

The group was perfect...
the universe had certainly brought us together at this time and place for a reason.

This day was something I have needed for so long...
something that I craved.
Something I knew I was missing.

We laughed,
we cried,
we told stories,
we opened our hearts to each other
and connected in a way I've never know before.
In a real way.

We identified our own super powers.

We became a Tribe!

It truly was a day of magic!

I'll leave you with the sneak peak picture we got to see before Sunday:
Sunday was the
Best. Day. Ever.

and I will never forget it!

New Discovery!

I finished my Blog Planner...I love how it turned out!
One of my favorite things is the tear off calendar...
which I made using this fun product...
Padding Compound!

Brush it on and it makes a stack of paper into a pad of paper.

Love it!
Got in here

I can think of a bunch of things I want to make into note pads!

Hey, maybe my mojo is not too far away!
